The Male

The inclusivity of the masculine form is expressed through the interrogation of lived experience. By understanding the intersectionality of an individuals being, articulated through visual narratives, the knowledge held by the subject is communicated through the artists encounter of the subject, captured in photograph, and rendered on canvass as the double. With every subject, a story unfolds through the apparatus. The story - a unique manifestation - reveals the subjects knowledges on race, origin, gender, health, and sexuality, such that it resides in our western context.

Queer(scapes)

Landscapes and their architectural elements are memory. The collision of gender, sex, race, and humanities relationship with the land imprint their histories in the present moment of urban existence.
